DigiCert SSL Certificate Reviews

These guys set a new benchmark for professional, friendly service. Don't bother with anyone else they are the best.

After 2 days of banging my head with Thawte, I went to the DigiCert website and had it all sorted in 1-2 hours. What a pleasure to deal with.

Chat session was engaged right away and the tech (Chris) was knowledgeable and patient with all my questions.

These guys rock. 10/10 for service, support and price. If they don't chnage we will use them till the end of the internet.

I've been using DigiCert for a few years now and wouldn't look to go else where. Each email communication is followed by a phone call from them ensure they've provided the expected information and to discuss any other questions. After submitting the request and supporting documents, the certificate was provided promptly. If you're looking for a no-hassle, good value SSL certificate, these are the people to use!

I would highly recommend Digicert. Their Web Site is easy to use and they followed everything up via telephone. Maybe not a household name in the SSL marketplace but an excellent company to work with.

DigiCert is a breath of fresh air. Not knowing anything about the process, I went through GoDaddy since their sales department told me I qualified. I went for it, but what a terrible decision that was. During the validation process, GoDaddy telephone support was non-existent and they told me to communicate through their email ticket system. GoDaddy Response times during the validation process were 4-8 hours (even for yes/no questions). They kept adding additional requirements and hoops for me to jump through. Finally, after 5-6 days and $600 in getting them what they wanted, GoDaddy validation said I didn't qualify based on illegitimate criteria. After 5-6 days! I emailed several times for them to prove it to me and they wouldn't. Competing agencies said they couldn't because they're argument was illegitimate. That's when I spoke to DigiCert. I told them who I was and what I did and they told me I was 100% qualified. They also told me what I needed to do and I signed up immediately. Within an hour, I had a very helpful phone call from someone and was validated almost immediately after submitting all of my qualifying documents. Just a couple calls and some very friendly conversations. No painful ticket system, no tedious phone calls, no 5-6 day turnaround... just very simple, very speedy and very quick. Thank you DigiCert!

I was really impressed with these guys. I got a support person using the online chat within seconds. Due to some issues my client had at their end we had some delays in the certificate being issued but this was not DigiCert's fault at all, in fact they called me 3 times (in the space of 24 hours) to see how things were going. Once the client had sorted out their domains contact details, and had completed the authorisation process, I received the certificate details within minutes. That, plus the fact that DigiCert don't limit the certificate to a single server, really rocks. I highly recommend DigiCert. Also I personally think the siteseal is quite cool. Keep up the good work guys. P.S I used to use an other large CA, thawte, they provide nothing like the service of DigiCert.
