SSL Certs aren't the easiest things in the world to manage - but DigiCert makes it easy as possible The support staff member (Chris) responded to my online support chat request within 1 minute. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful and had a great understand of his products. I will defiantly be recommending DigiCert to our clients, and have no hesitation in renewing my certificates with DigiCert.

We had previously used SSL certs from another well known provider. Last time we renewed I toyed with the idea of switching to digicert, but I got cold feet due to the possibility of something going wrong on the server when switching providers - since I was not in the same country as the server at the time. This week I was reminded that our old cert was expiring and assumed there would not be enough time to to the validations etc, and I am also due to leave the country tomorrow - so I went back to the old provider (whose staff had kindly informed me yesterday that the cert was expiring tomorrow), and their staff promised to call me back "tomorrow between 3-4PM". By 8pm no one called, so in exasperation I tried their online chat - it was not functioning - so I called them - and was told the person handling the case was not in today, but "someone will call you back within 1 hour". But they did not. So, I went to Digicerts site, opened a chat window and some pre-sales chat (not pushy) ensued, then I decided to go for it, and the whole thing, from the start of the pre-sales chat to verifying our company documents, issuing the cert, installing the seal and having some chit-chat while we waited for various emails to come arrive, was over in about an hour and a half - the rep I was dealing with - Taylor - was very friendly, courteous and helpful and gave me quick responses to all my queries. Also please note: I am not a system admin guy - I have a little knowledge about these things, which can be a dangerous thing. But in any event, there were no problems and the cert is now up and running. I would not hesitate to recommend digicert based on my experience.

An account was created for me after Submitting CSR for exchange 2007 according to their guideline where I could check the status of my order. Issued certificated within one hour after verifying validation document. The entire process took more than one week. The delay was not from the Digicert but from our ISP Qtel (Q-Tel , Qatar). Q-Tel might be the only ISP in the planet without an online server for providing registrant information. After one week struggle Q-tel updated registrant information which was not in their system and send us softcopy . Digicert verified the registrant information in the softcopy and P.O box in the utility bill with those companies. Mr. Larry -a live person in the chat was extremely helpful.He called us and ISP many times even made telephone conference for verifying information and translation

I've used Thawte, VeriSign, and Network Solutions in the past. We are switching all of our certificates over to DigiCert as they expire.

An account was created where i could check the status of my order. >Since we are not based in USA, they requested us to provide validation documents, which we did. >Our Domain registration information was not available on the whois lookup, they contacted our domain registrar for domain ownership verfication. > After domain registrar replid in the affirmative, they issued the wildcard certificate and sent it to my email. > Followed their easy to use guide for installing the certificate. Some important things to consider Digicert as your certificate provider, 1. 24 by 7 email and chat support 2. Competant staff who know their stuff. 3. More options for less price - wildcard plus offers unlimited certificates and unlimited reissues and even supports subjective alternate names.
