DigiCert SSL Certificate Reviews

I was a newbie to SSL certificates and DigiCert walked me through all the steps from chosing the correct SSL to purchasing to installation to verifying all SSL sites were working correctly to troubleshooting. They have extremely knowledgeable support staff that are friendly and PATIENT. I had some unique needs and they stayed on the phone the entire time (hours). You might be able to find a cheaper SSL but I got what I paid for and then some. Thanks DigiCert!!

Much easier to work with than Verisign plus you can re-download purchased certs at anytime. Verisign makes you pay if you lose your backup of a cert.

This time I ordered a UC cert containing 20 domains on 6tld's. This was an extremely fast delivery and the service when I needed help was fantastic. DigiCert always delivers very fast and their service is always very good, not just this time. After ordering probably around 100 certificates, they have yet to let us down on a single one. This review is long overdue:=)

I've ordered twice with DigiCert, both times I received excellent service. The customer service reps are always friendly; certs are issued quickly. Ordering online is super easy, their site is extremely helpful and gives you lots of info even if you're not familiar with the process (and good tech stuff if you are). What's also really cool is that when you call for support, you actually get a REAL PERSON on the line without waiting... that's awesome! (I was actually caught off-guard when I first called because I was expecting a recorded menu).

I had problems with generating a CSR. This was the only site that had reasonable prices but more importantly, online chat with a rep (at 2am!). Sam walked me through generating the CSR, and emailed me the cert within minutes. My server gave me a bit of grief starting up, so Sam walked me through generating a new key, csr, emailed me the cert again, and stayed with me on the chat until it worked. SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I just want to get some information through live chat on their web site. Highly skilled stuff help me a lot even he called me from US to Japan. I never expected that. This company is the best for sure. And definitely i am going to work with them.

There aren't many companies out there in ANY business that delivers the type of support that digicert is giving. 24/7 Chat support or phone support Technicians have absolute power and absolute knowledge of technical matters and your order processing. No matter what you need, they both have the authority and knowledge to help you out. Their Certificate tool is fantastic. It helps you with all local certificate issues that you might need. Like Exporting or Installation. They do a checkup on your certificate after it is installed to see if you've done it correctly and mails you if something is wrong. This company is just fantastic. If every service proviced out there could be delivered with the quality, service and non-beuraucratic efficiency that Digicert provides, we would have a better world. I mean it. They are THAT great.

DigiCert make the daunting process of ordering and installing a certificate super easy. I'm very impressed; I've used them for two domains and renewed both so I've effectively conducted four transactions and every one went without flaw.

I was tasked with securing my OWA for my recenly installed Exchange 2007 server. If you have done this before you will know that Microsoft changed the SSL Cert install ALOT. They moved it out of IIS's hands and have passed it over to Exchange to handle. You now have to run a command in the Exchange console, get the request and then do the reverse after obtaining the cert. They also complicated it by now having to have multiple sites listed in the cert (even for one Exchange Domain). WELL this is where DigiCert stepped in BIG TIME!!! Not only do they have a ton of information on there site about the whole process, they have a whole page along with tool set to help you get the cert out of Exchange. From there I got into a chat with one of there REPs named Todd whom took all the time needed to get me my cert, show me some tools to install it and helped me out with every aspect of the purchase and install. Now being a small shop and only purchasing one cert that day I was pleasantly surprised at the care that this company gave me, something you rarely find in customer service these days. There is a reason that DigiCert has five starts on this site, and I am writing today to hopefully add to what seems like a well deserved reputaion in the industry.

Handling SSL certificates landed in my lap because nobody else wanted the process. I only manage two certificates so it's not something I do routinely. So I don't have a lot of knowledge. This has not bee a problem with DigiCert. The support team is A1. There even very patient when I missed a step in their CLEAR documentation. Thanks DigiCert!
