Entrust SSL Certificate Reviews

When I purchased the SSL Certificate (which I hate doing) they made it easy. They turned the certificate around in a day. A week or so later, I had a complicated server change, they worked with me and in 2 hours, I had what I needed...my migration went great. Thanks Entrust.

Installed some advantage certs on an OCS Edge and they helped guide me though the process. Had issues with federation and they worked to make sure my chain was proper and presentation was good. Very friendly to work with.

We have been working with Entrust for almost a year now and have signed the contract to move all of our certificates to the Entrust Certificate Management System. Though we have 40+ certs, some are used year to year and some are only needed for a few months marketing campaign. The ability to "reuse via pooling" a certificate over the course of the year and only "pay" for it yearly is absolutely outstanding and not available with other vendors which saves us a substantial amount in department budgeting. I would highly recommend the Entrust company to any other large or small business needing security and greatly appreciate their support and professionalism.

I had to renew 5 SSL certs today and it took less than an hour to renew all 5. Their renewal process is fast and easy.

When we moved to MS Exchange a few years ago I switched to Entrust to take advantage of the Unified Communications Certificate. I had speedy service and when we went through a merger last year and had to provide documentation proving the ownership of a domain, they were actively chasing me for that documentation in order to issue the certificate. I found them very helpful throughout.

In October 2009, I contacted Entrust company looking to acquire an EV SSL certificate for one of our online tools. The process started very smoothly, but got a bit more difficult when it came to the installation process. At that point I thought that Entrust’s reaction would be similar to many other technical ‘support’ departments, who despite their pretentious efforts to help, they usually let you know that you are taking up too much of their valuable time by asking for help. Instead, I was very surprised by the professionalism, kindness and dedication that I encountered. Their service was exemplary throughout and, despite the frustration of the certificate refusing to install itself – probably due to a couple of issues at our end to be honest –, always delivered with a smile. I would not hesitate for one second to recommend Entrust to any client or colleague who’s looking for a similar service, and I will certainly not hesitate getting back to them in two years’ time to renew our service. In my opinion, Entrust's technical support team provides exemplary customer service that does not just meet, but surpasses customers’ expectations.

Entrust has been very easy to work with. I especially like the fact that we can purchase in bulk and assign the certificates when we need to.

Entrust's prices are between 1/3 and 1/2 the price of the corresponding Verisign products. We opted to switch to EV certificates when we switched to Entrust, so validation was somewhat challenging. Now that our validation is complete, however, certificate management is pretty straightforward via the web tool. I like the grid card 2-factor authentication. I'm impressed that Entrust provides a document on how to use the web site for common tasks as a matter of course (even before I asked for this). The rep I'm working with (sam.teriaky@entrust.com) is very responsive, helpful and flexible. I like the subscription model in that it's possible to define certifiates for up to 4 or 5 years, and they'll remain valid as long as we maintain our subscription with Entrust (less regular maintenance of certificates). I love the fact that the subscription allows revocaton of a certificate and establishment of a new certificate of the same type without paying for a new certificate. We're early in our conversion process, but so far so good.

I have been working with Entrust for several years now. I'm really impressed with their customer service when dealing with the sales and technical reps. They have always been very responsive to our needs and do ever thing within their power to see our needs our met.
