After having transitioned from Verisign to Thawte and subsequently to Entrust, I have found Entrust's management console and availability of an account representative to make SSL certificate issuance much less of a hassle than I had become accustomed to.

I am an Entrust customer both with the City of Timmins and with my own web development company. I have always found the Entrust sales helpful in determining the appropriate product for the intended application (wildcard, unified, standard, etc..). Support services are also very helpful in assisting with installs and troubleshooting when needed. There are cheaper products out there and it shows. I find Entrust provides value in both the product and the service.

My Company has been using Entrust for few years. Their support has been quite good. Their on-line management tool is really good and easy to work with. Most of the activities can be done their except the signing contract. So far I got very prompt response from account rep. I deal with. Keep doing the good work Entrust!!

I've managed SSL accounts with Verisign and Thawte before making the switch to Entrust. There is no comparison! Best price, best customer service, immediate issuing of certs, etc. I have zero negative things to say about Entrust. Great company!

Long story short, we have been using Verisign certs for years; that ordeal is over now. This time around, we waited until we had about 6 days until expiration before we went for renewal; not a great idea... Based on the cost of several certs, we decided to give Entrust a try. We explained that we only had a few days and this was a critical move on our part...they promised a smooth on time delivery. Well, not only was it flawless and on time, but everyone we spoke with was informed, delightful and happy to help with their end of the process. End to end, we had approvals and installed certs in 4 calendar days; we started at 4pmCST on a Friday...wow! I'm so happy to do business with an organization that actually is committed to customer service and follows through.

I just wanted to drop a not about the excellent customer service I have experienced with Entrust. Several years ago we used VeriSign as our CA. Due to many frustrating support instances that included hard to reach support people and a general lack of responsiveness even with their sales people (to name a few) - we switched to Entrust. Our client, the State of Tennessee recommended Entrust to us. Since switching we could not be happier. Every single support problem or sales issue/question I have had has been dealt with in the most commendable way possible. I have left each instance with my problem resolved, question answered, and most of all confidence in Entrust and the people working there. Entrust has our loyal support and recommendations. Entrust is always helpful and if emergency of immediate need is required they take care of the problem first and worry about cost later. There user management portal has allowed the ability to share and delegate the responsibility across the individuals that should be managing their SSL and eliminated the bottleneck.

Converted from Verisign and I would like to say that it was a step UP in terms of service for the price. Phone support is great, they are a busy bunch but I have a cell phone of my account rep for emergencies. Having a certificate pull and web-management tool to manage certificates is an excellent feature. I feel like Dr Evil every time my VP or IT director asks a for a new SSL cert :)
