Weeks of jumping through hoops

Instead of providing a list of information they would need to verify our site ownership and issue our certificate, they asked for one piece of information at a time, delaying our order for weeks. 4 weeks after placing our order they still haven't even called to verify our phone number. A VERY slight difference in how our business name is listed in the domain Registrant information vs our Legal Company name has caused another 3 day delay. After waiting so long, we signed up through Geotrust and our certificate is due to be issued within 24 hours after a phone verification during business hours. DO NOT do business with Thawte. After reading the other horror story reviews, I'm surprised our hosting provider is a reseller of this company's SSL products.
