I think the chat service I had was fantastic. Vinson and the other support people I talked to were very helpful. However - there was no communication about what I needed to do to kick off the EV Cert validation. I had to wait 2 days before reaching out via chat and that is when the ball got rolling. The chat service is great, however I believe you are missing some steps in communicating what is needed from a user after purchase.
