Terrible experience getting an EV certificate! We are well known in our niche, dominating the entire first page of Google results, as well as being listed with government agencies and D&B. Yet Comodo was unable to verify our address. Worse, Comodo was unable to communicate in English regarding why they were unable to verify our address, they simply repeatedly communicated that they were not able to verify our address, and were not even able to tell us which address they were not able to verify! When we finally received a verification call, the customer service representative refused to speak with one of the owners, and hung up on him. Several weeks later and still no certificate. We had to purchase a domain validation certificate from a different company because the EV certificate has yet to be issued. Zero stars.

Do not contact this company. 3 years later and every time my SSL is up for removal they spam call me several times per day. Stear clear.

This is the 2nd time I have renewed my EV SSL certificate from Comodo. The initial purchase took some time for validation. I waited too long to renew the second time, but it still took many days to renew. This time, I was prepared and purchased my renewal 2 weeks in advance. 10 days in advance I initiated the renewal. I heard nothing back. Eventually, I received an e-mail asking for a file to be placed on my website. I already had this file in place, and I told them so. They did not respond for 3 more days, even after attempting to e-mail them back again. Finally, they asked to verify me via phone, I gave them hours to call me, and, 3 days later, they had not even made an attempt. The 4th day, they said they would call me before 5 pm EST, but they did not. I finally contacted them via live chat. The agent was slow to respond, and it took 90 minutes to have a 15 line conversation. Fortunately, I was able to get them to call me to verify. I am now waiting for UK business hours for my certificate to be generated. I may spend the extra money next year and move to a different company for my SSL needs. The loss in business from my SSL being expired is just not worth it.

I got my Comodo thru sslcertificate. I paid like 85.00 for 3 years. I switched my entire site over to https so it makes it more secure for the user. It was one of the most affordable I could find. you can get a free one from letsencrypt.org but you need to do some server setup. I was just to lazy. :) SSL works great from comodo I give it 5 stars but then I am programmer and know what I am doing.
