Sectigo SSL Certificate Reviews

I ordered a code signing certificate 10 days ago and I still don't have it. I have spent literally hours on the phone with their verification department who keeps quoting different demands, asks for phone numbers that they themselves have emailed me and are generally either incompetent or they are so overworked that each case is entirely new to each worker that picks it up. All in all, the experience was nothing short of amazingly bad and it's not even over yet! Some tips: Use a public notary that they can lookup online. They cannot fathom that it may not be possible for a full list of notaries in your state to not exist online. It took me half an hour on the phone to explain to the verification department that they needed to call the State Department to verify the commission of a notary. Have a landline phone. They cannot conceive of the idea that you may not get a phone bill from your prepaid VOIP service and after repeatedly stating that I do not receive phone bills, they kept asking me for a "notarized phone bill". What does that even mean!?!?! Make sure to confirm everything they tell you on the phone by email. They will mostly ignore those emails (even the ones they sent to you themselves) but sometimes it helps to point them to something.

Comodo team is very helpful and responsive. Whenever I have any problem, they fix it fast. The website is easy to use and I did everything myself.

I searched many sites looking for a basic and cheap ssl certificate. For my own cloud and xmpp server. I used to have letsencrypt which is nice if you know how to set up for auto renewal. But i wanted to forget about renewal and buy a three years deal. For just $15 I got what I wanted and the customer service at COMODO is very helpful. They understand what is your problem and they solve it.

Comodo is my choice in terms of security & price. The phone was answered quickly, but sometimes online chat freeze me for minutes. But overall they are better than other brands I tried in the past.

While you are chating they not responding. We need to wait for so long for their reply.

Comodo has a relatively good service, I wouldn't say its excellent. I had a good experience over all.

I was issued a certificate which assigned my site to an unaffiliated website that doesn't belong to me nor I to it.

Within 5 minutes or less all my questions where answered. This was my first time setting a SSL certificate into a server

Ordered the free SSL trial and it arrived very quickly and worked, ordered the essential SSL and it arived just as quickly and worked too. The web order system told me exactly what information it needed (which I was unsure of initially) and was clear and concise. Excellent system!!!

They are completely incompetent, it took 3 MONTHs to finally NOT having the certificate, because they are using wrong data, from non-official, foreign, invalid and private listings as reference (to validate companies, which is quite frightening). To be more precise they wanted us to change our phone number on a private company listing in a foreign country while all official phone books in our country were correct ! This is quite alarming, because someone could validate a Comodo SSL EV certificate NOT being legitimate !
