Had an issue with CNAME not validating. Sectigo chat person helped me work out the issue which was basically to remove and add back in. Certificate validated immediately. Very patient, too, as the process took a few minutes to work out.

The verification process was painful as Sectigo seems to only want to look at D&B records which are garbage for nonpublic companies or companies that do not pay D&B to publish information for them. D&B is particularly inaccurate to businesses that have utility service at multiple locations since they create new locations based on utility records. Companies like Internet and cell providers have many utility locations. Thank you to RUSSELL from validation for working through the process and getting it finished.

I had an issue with the validation in that it would not go through. From emails with Tech Support we identified the problem. The problem was solved with the help of Marc on their chat facility. All in all a very good support team there.
