I purchased a certificate of which they quickly charged my account, but never provided the certificate or a way to obtain it. Additionally, after setting passwords and user accounts to get in, the password login continues to fail. Request a password change and it takes hours to get one. I have a Comodo certificate for another account and that was pretty straight forward, this new service is not efficient.

Tech Support walked newbie through nerve-wrecking installation

I had some issues with creating my csr properly. Tech Support chat was very responsive. And, Marc, stayed online with me from installing it incorrectly and then through recreating a cert and making sure it was installed properly. In the middle of morning our email system was iffy, but Tech Support went beyond call of duty -- but, very, very glad they did. Thank you very much. I would definitely recommend Sectigo. Make sure you understand the entire process prior -- take the time, it will be lengthy, but it will be worthwilte.

I renewed my code signing certificate at the beginning of May (due to expire on 28th). The renewal process was easy and payment was taken. However, the status stalled at “awaiting validation”. At the time I didn't know whether I needed to take any action or provide information. After a fruitless 2hr online chat I raised a ticket. The certificate was issued within 24hrs - which was great. However, there was no feedback so I still don't know why the certificated wasn't validated in the first place - any whether this will happen every time I renew.

my application apparently was put on hold because Sectigo called me once while not being in the office. No message, nothing, I had to find out my self by contacting the Sectigo helpdesk. Excellent help from Russell from Validation, call was immediately established, waiting for the rest of the validation process to be completed.

Impossible to deal with

Comodo/Sectigo uses one source for business verification, D&B. If anything is inaccurate in D&B they will refuse to issue the certificate. They accept NO other verifications. They provide a list of services they accept but each one pulls its info from D&B so again if D&B is incorrect you are screwed. Good luck with getting D&B to update your info. Its a paid service and unpaid requests take months to update if they ever even do it. Its been 2 weeks arguing with them and they refuse to issue my certificates because the phone number on D&B is wrong. They wont take any other directory listing or even the phone bill to verify it. Worst company i have ever dealt with. They could not care less.
