I bought a wildcard certificate from DigiCert, and I was worried about browser compatibility, and that I am using a fairly obscure load balancer. I got the cert very quickly - their website is great - even create the command for you to create the CSR using OpenSSL and other tools. I had some problems with the load balancer and the chain of custody. So I called up DigiCert, and they had a doc on my load balancer. I did what they recommended and it worked. After testing it in FF and ie6-7-8, no problems. AND the cert was very reasonably priced compared to some others. I recommend these quys highly
