DigiCert SSL Certificate Reviews

I submitted a request today in a panic because the Verisign certificate that I had been using on one of my websites was expiring today and I was trying to load the Digicert certificate and not having any luck. I had a web chat with a technician and he suggested that I create a duplicate cert. In order to do that I needed to inform the business that there may be a possibility they would not be able to access the website, so we had to wait until noon. At noon when I created and then installed the duplicate cert I was receiving error messages. At that point I called tech support in a panic! I needed to get this cert on the site or I needed to order a new one from Verisign before the end of the day. I worked with Taylor, and he was wonderful. He sat on the phone with me as I ordered another duplicate cert and installed it - with the same errors. He was able to decipher that the website that I was trying to protect was not named with the domain name, and he created a new 'order' for me. I created the cert and was able to install it - without errors this time. It is refreshing to be able to talk with a customer service rep at the time that I call, and for that person to be patient until the problem is fixed.
