Thanks to Martin: he's been very helpful. I'm ordering via Name.com; it could be easier if a CNAME validation option would be readily available for me there, though it may be needed to fix on Name.com side, not on Sectigo side.

With it being the first time purchasing and setting up a wildcard SSL certificate I was a little unsure of the whole process and what was needed.
