I've had the misfortune of having to order a few certificates from Comodo in the last couple of years. Every time it's a time consuming and frustrating task. The customer portal is severly lacking, documentation is bad. Because of that, I've had several opportunities to be in contact with the chat helpdesk, most recently with Martin from validation, who are always friendly and helpful. So, a big thanks to Martin!

I had tried for three days to understand all I needed to do to get my Positive SSL. I had one long chat or phone call after another and pretty much just heard "technical jargon" I knew nothing about. I was completely frustrated because even after following instructions nothing happened and no one was really all that helpful to help me figure out what I was doing wrong. They just kept repeating instructions to me that, frankly, kept me lost and confused. I actually thought, "I am getting what I pay for with this customer service and technical team." Very poor experience. However, today I logged on and chatted with EMMA who took care of me and issued the dcv in seconds as though it was just sitting there ready to be sent to me (it had never been emailed --- was not in spam or anywhere). Because of EMMA I will try this again in a year. I am still not pleased with the customer service experience I have had up to this point but, honestly, she saved the day, and my attitude. Thank you, EMMA! If I can get her help next year, I will! Thank you, EMMA. You should get a raise :)

I got Philip from the support, he was amazing, communicated the current issue with my validation process and it went super smooth, he was kind and a great person, i am glad he answered my request via live chat. Overall the validation process took 3 Hours after sending the Validation papers and fixing the issue took 2 minutes with Philip. I got an email saying that my address could not be verified. This address is on record and publicly accessible through DNB and Nebraska Secretary of State websites as being accurate. That was the only pain point. I did reach out, via chat, to RUSSELL from Validation and he was able to send my a callback verification and issue my certs in a timely manner. I'm glad he was able to get me quickly on my way with this hiccup!
