Go Daddy's certificates are cheap, but for anyone who expects clients other than recent Microsoft browsers, they aren't the way to go. A moment in Google will reveal that current versions of neither Firefox nor Safari supports Go Daddy certificates without additional "intermediate" certificates. Additionally, a set of intermediate certificates even need to be installed on the IIS side, so not even the server-side is as straight-forward as it could be. Worse, at least one of our customers associates "Go Daddy" more with chauvinistic Super Bowl ads than security. Very embarrassing. Spend a few bucks more at RapidSSL or one of the more reputable providers - Go Daddy isn't worth the savings.
