I’ve used VeriSign and Entrust and am now using Entrust exclusivity based on their ease of use, customer service and price. Entrust’s Certificate Management Service lets me expedite most of my requests. If I have an atypical request, my account manager has always been there to help me. I’ve found Entrust’s certificate prices to be as completive as anyone’s.

Excellent, but would be nice to be able to generate multiple wildcard cert for the same domain on different platforms (Win, F5, Linux). Currently the limit is one per domain.

We exclusively use Entrust SSL certificates because their support is excellent, the certificate management tools are superb, and the price is right! The web based management console that Entrust provides us is really easy to use and helps us track all of our certificates. Additionally, when we have had some server problems, the technical support staff helps us fix any problems end to end. We think very highly of Entrust.

I have used both standard and unified communications certs from Entrust. Much better value than some other big names (read V*******). Having to buy cerificate units was new to me, but I've adjusted. Prepurchased certificate units do expire after some time, though, but Entrust will notify you well before that time so that prepaid units are not wasted. Patient live help when needed, too. We're happy customers.

It is absolutely unbelievable what Entrust charges people. Complete robbery. We moved to Digicert and it has worked PERFECTLY! Entrust quoted us upwards of 16k. Digitrust was 1,600! Oh and why do we still get the emails from you when we are no longer customers!

We used to manage 6 separate SSL licenses through another popular vendor... but they kept raising their prices and our certificates would expire at 6 different times, making it very difficult to keep track of and manage. Our sales manager at Entrust told us all about their Certificate Management Service where we could manage all 6 SSL licenses ourselves: including deactivating and creating new Advantage SSL certificates on the fly. Now we can set our own expiration dates for the licenses and manage them all through the easy-to-use Certificate Management Service website! So not only did we get a cheaper price by combining our SSL certificates – but we also have a self-service website to go along with it!

The only complaint that I have is that it's not really clear from the web console that old certs when not renewed go back into your queue. It took a while to figure that out.

My company switched from Verisign and couldn't be happier! I buy certificates weekly, and over the years I've had my share of mess-ups, but Entrust support has always patiently and efficiently worked through all of them with me. The Certificate Management Service allows me to access my certs immediately upon creation, which is a huge boon when you get the kind of last-minute requests that I do :).

I manage IT for a company that has roughly 35 - 40 active SSL certificates. I use to buy them one at a time, but several years ago, switched to Entrust's managed SSL services. I definitely recommend this to anyone who deals with SSL regularly. I went from having to do validation for every cert, which toook 1 - 2 days typically, to being able to issues certs immediately because the validation is done in advance for the domains I register with the service. The web site is easy to use and I have never had an issue with it. For me, the service has always just worked. And, given the quantity of certs I deal with, I use the service quite a bit. The only time I ever need to contact Entrust is when I need to buy more certs or register more domains and all of that can be done through the site as well. I am very comfortable recommending Entrust's SSL services to others.
