Variety of SSL products, good value

I've used RapidSSL (now owned by Symantec) for about 5 years now. Have had only one failed cert (required new CSR on the reissue). Have used the RapidSSL certs, WildCard and have had the ability to issue SAN certificates to my portal, as well. I've found them to be of good value, when I simply needed an SSL cert, manageable, and usable.
Had to upgrade a RapidSSL cert to a SAN cert with a server upgrade and certificate was issued within 2 hours of ordering. I've been pleased w RapidSSL/GeoTrust/Symantec when it's come to ordering, installing and supporting certificates.

While their customer service has always been abysmal, until recent changes to the checks I've rarely had to contact them. Now we waste hours on every order as they either have no procedure or change it at will. They often lose the email (don't ask me how), and calls to them are met with a desk staffed by people with little knowledge and even less inclination to help. Worst of all however is that they seem to change their requirements every week, with documents and contacts sufficient last week considered unacceptable this week. Recent reasons for refusal having included the addition of a full stop at the end of a customers company name and Geotrusts inability to verify phone numbers by using the BT online phone directory (it was clearly listed as I pointed out to the supervisor I escalated to.) I'm now changing our provider as it's simply not worth the small profit on SSL's if we have to spend hours dealing with this organisation.

In the first phase we were happy to have them because our trust was full to them to get the SSL certificate, they always needed some documents partly by partly and took our time allot, on the other hand they told us to find a Turkish speaker to talk with our officals but they never did. So basically they do not take responsibility and keep their promises, we have provided them all the offical files but in the end they needed them hard copied, even our lawyer and trade commerce letter was offical and could be checked online on their offical website. So anyways we had to cancel our order, it was a time wasting experince and really effected our business.

I searched high and low... only to feel a bit disappointed with the price gouging.

Then I checked https://www.sslmatrix.com/ which offered the superb deal for rapidssl (Geotrust) and I liked it enough, to purchased the certificate for 4 years...

So far I'm very satisfied... Fully automated, no glitch, no issues just worked as advertized!

Made two request almost a week ago. They are still in the processing phase.

If I try to contact the so-called Support, they are hardly reachable and will tell you nothing but some general BS(basically: "I will contact the regional customer center to speed up the process), but of course nothing happens.

Interesting, when we were just evaluating the Trial certificate, a Customer representative could contact us at least twice a week...

I won't recommend this company to anyone, although Digicert a little bit more expensive, the support and issuing speed (just 10 minutes) totally worth it.

I searched for months a cheap SSL certificate. I really think CheapSSL dot com is the cheapest at $7.99 for a Rapid SSL certificate at the moment. More, it's easy to install it (of course, with your hosting company support is able to help you or to do it for you).

Ordered and after 3 days status was still processing. Ask support why? Got no answer.
Now am sick of their support and i am going to try to get a refund as they have 7 day free refund.

Awful company, avoid them!!
