Support: They are excellent! Very helpful and responsive and fix problems easily.
Interface: Very easy. I just do everything myself from their easy to use web site.
Issuance Speed: Immediately

I've had a lot of problems with Verisign as I'm sure a lot of people that are reading this have had. Comodo just works better and I like working with the support people at Comodo so much better that Verisign.

I have purchased quite a few certificates from Comodo, mostly in the form of their InstantSSL certificate. In my experience their tech support has always been responsive and helpful. The only downside is that their certificates, while included in every browser's Trusted Root store, are not single root certificates, which can lead to extra complexity when deploying to certain appliances and especially mobile devices. Having to install their root certificate on a bunch of smartphones can be very time consuming.

These guys have been great, they have even invalidated certs and reissued to me due to request screw-ups, and are easy to work with. Their support team is very helpful.

These guys are terrible. They won't let you make a purchase that doesn't run through their extremely unstable JavaScript/ActiveX solution. Their "automated" purchase system doesn't work with IE7; I had to download Mozilla. Their instructions are unclear, at best. When I finally was notified that my certificate was available, I get a vague email with a link. I click on the link and get this stupid message that says "Your personal certificate has been installed" with no indication of /where/ it has been installed. It's not a personal certificate. After a complete search of my computer there is no evidence that the certificate was installed anywhere. Best of all: there's no way to contact technical support without a user name and password... which they won't give.

Basically: everything that could go wrong has. They've taken my money and delivered absolutely nothing but frustration and heartache in return. It will cost you less, get you a certificate sooner, and probably not put you in contact with nearly as much red tape to form your own certificate authority and get it recognized as a root CA. Do not use Comodo; I can't imagine worse service.

I am sitting on the telephone as I type this. 30 minutes plus according to the display on the telephone and yet I'm still holding, waiting to eventually speak with a warm body.

The most demeaning and unfriendly technical support I have ever experienced. Repeatedly.

Also, I can not understand the policy of any call that runs over twenty minutes being disconnected automatically.

I am very impressed with their customer service. They walked me through creating a CSR and placing the order. I had a problem installing it because it said it wasn't trusted but their technical support was able to help me fix that.

I hadn't purchased an SSL certificate before but it was pretty simple to do through their web site. Their prices are great and I got the certificate back the same day.

Everything installed smoothly on my IIS server so I couldn't be happier.
